New Quentin Tarantino Film: Django Unchained

It’s official, the new Quentin Tarantion film is going to be a western and it’s called Django Unchained.  According to The Quentin Tarantino Archives, the film is going to be a spaghetti western and is hopefully going to get a late 2012 release.  This will be Quentin Tarantino’s first film since Inglourious Basterds released on August 21, 2009.  First Showing confirmed that, just like Inglourious Basterds, the film will star Christopher Waltz (who played the evil nazi Hans Landa).  First Showing also released a description of the plot in which they said Christopher Waltz will be playing a bounty hunter who helps the main character, Django, find his wife.  It turns out she is a slave on a plantation and the bounty hunters help liberate her from her evil owner.  Honestly I’m really excited for this.  I loved Inglourious Basterds and pretty much everything else Tarantino has done.  A spaghetti western is a perfect genre for Tarantio and I think he is going to do an amazing job with this film. What do you guys think?  Are you excited for a new Tarantino genre film or do westerns not tickle your fancy?  Let us know in the comments!
